Edward R. Hills

[Picture] Ed Hills passed away at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 54 years old.

He had been with Parker Boiler Co. for over 36 years. He began working at the company as a crater and progressed through many departments in the plant. He became a serviceman and advanced to Service Manager in 1972. In 1978 he took over as the local Parker Sales Representative to the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Industry. In 1983 he was promoted to Sales Manager of the Southern California Laundry and Dry Cleaning Industry.

He was always active and supportive of the industry and was a past President of the LADS Club. His commitment to customers and accomplishments over the years contributed greatly to establishing Parker Boiler as the leading boiler supplier for the Southern California Dry Cleaning Industry.

Ed Hills was exceptionally well known and had a world of friends in the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Industry. He was a very special person that was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed. Fortunately we have many happy memories of this great man who did so much to reflect happiness and a special feeling of friendship to all.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, three children, four grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
